Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Switch off and unplug the appliance before any cleaning. Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid abrasive products, and ensure the appliance is dry before plugging it back in.
Condenser and Compressor Maintenance
Once or twice a year, dust the condenser and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure efficient operation.
External Cleaning
Wash the outer cabinet with warm soapy water, but do not use detergents, abrasive powders, or highly perfumed cleaning products as these can damage the surface.
Defrosting
Your appliance is designed to be frost-free, meaning there is no need for manual defrosting. However, check and clear any ice build-up if necessary.
Temperature Setting
Adjust the thermostat to the required position (1-6) based on desired coldness, with '1' being the least cold and '6' the coldest. Use the air circulation slider for better air control.
